Ms. Brzinski--1st Grade Teacher

Welcome to Room 1411!

I look forward to my second year at Capitol Hill.  It is so fun to begin this year seeing familiar faces around school for the first time.   I also look forward to working with first grade students and families this year.  Students will be learning new reading skills, strengthening their math thinking, and broadening their knowledge of science concepts and the world around them.  We have already been working very hard to establish our classroom community as a safe and fun place to learn.

I am confident our class will have a great time with many successes this year!

Starfall Website   This is a great interactive primary website with lots of educational activities. Students will also be occasionally using this site independently on classroom computers. Students may use this free website at home to support their learning. Have fun!!
Valley Branch Environmental Learning Center   Attention students!! If you have a question or comment about nature or the environment maybe we can help. Visit later to see the answer to your question!
Math Lines   Find marble complements of 10. This game ties in to the first grade objective of adding basic math facts totaling ten.
