Dear Students,

Welcome to 4^th Grade.  As you now know I’m your teacher, Mrs. Richardson.  This is my 12^th year in the Saint Paul School district and my 8^th year here at Capitol Hill.  Before coming to Capitol Hill I taught 5^th grade at Hancock Hamline School. 

I was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Southwest High School in 1992 (Go Lakers!).  I really enjoyed my high school years and I still keep in touch with many of my friends from high school.  After high school I decided to attend the University of St. Thomas to play for the women’s basketball team.  At St. Thomas I met many, many wonderful people, many of whom are my dearest friends. 

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading, and taking long walks.  I also have a 9 year old daughter, Adrienne who loves to play soccer and is an avid soccer player.   

I’m looking forward to learning more about you and I am honored to be your teacher this year.
