I am so pleased to join the Capitol Hill community as the new Assistant Principal. Working with both elementary and junior high students is a special treat for me since I have spent about half my career working at each level.
I have a B.A. with a double major in Psychology and Elementary Education. I have a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction K–12 and post-graduate work at St. Mary’s University in Administration. I am somewhat of a generalist with licensure in Pre-K, K–6, Middle School (Science, Social Studies, French, and Spanish) and of course, Principal K-12.
Photography is one of my passions, so you may see me with my camera at special events.
My goals for this year include getting to know as many of you as is possible, so if you see me, please stop me and introduce yourself. I look forward to an adventurous new year!
