Hi! My name is Mrs. Kay de Sam Lazaro. I have taught 2nd grade here at Capitol Hill since 1996. All three of my children attended Capitol Hill so I have experience both as a teacher and as a parent. (I can relate!) Previous to Capitol Hill, I taught kindergarten in my home town of Cloquet and then first grade in Maplewood/North St. Paul. If you have questions, the best way to contact me is by calling my room directly. During the school day your call will go directly to voice mail. I do check my voice mail throughout the day. The direct line is 325-2513. If you need to talk to me in person, call the office at 325-2500 and they will patch you in. You may also email me at kay.desamlazaro@spps.org. I do not check my email as frequently as I do my voice mail, but try to check it each evening. I also don't mind getting hand written notes if you feel that your child is responsible enough to hand them to me in the morning.
