Hello my name is Ann Young. I have been working at Capitol Hill since 1992. I have experience with the Gifted Program being both a teacher and a parent who had two of my own children attend the school. Prior to teaching at Capitol Hill I taught Kindergarten for 3 years in the St. Paul school district.
If you need to contact me at any time of the day I can be reached at 325-2518 which will go directly to voice mail. The best times to call to get direct contact is 7:45-8:05 am and 2:45-3:45 . I also appreciate hand written notes from you about busing issues if your child is getting a ride instead of taking the bus home, if your child was out ill from school or will be missing a day of school for family issues or Dr. appointments. I enjoy camping in the with my husband and our three sons. Spending time at the cabin is also a favorite family past time of ours. Some of my hobbies are reading mystery novels, fishing, going on walks and biking.
