Hi! Welcome to second Grade! My name is Mrs. Stacy Waskosky. I've taught at Capitol Hill since 1989, eight years at sixth grade and now at second grade. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1988 and I earned my Master's Degree in curriculum and instruction in 1994. When I'm not at school, I spend time with my husband and four children. I also enjoy reading. My favorite books are mystery/suspense novels.
This year we will be studying life cycles of many different organisms. Things will really be "hopping" in here this fall. We have a wonderful class pet named Mystery. Can you guess what he might be? Second graders will spend a lot of time this year looking for clues, observing many different things and being detectives.
